Heavy menstruation and/or prolonged menstruation are two problems that can occur in abnormal menstrual bleeding patterns. A visit to a licensed primary care practitioner is warranted if the bleeding is excessive or consistently prolonged in duration. Stabilizing the blood vessels, using astringent herbs and uterine tonics, and using anti-inflammatory agents can help to reduce heavy flows, slow blood loss and normalize the menstrual flow.
Warnings: Avoid use during pregnancy and while nursing. Slow Flow should not be taken longer than 3 months, if taking two or more every day of the month.
Notes: Slow Flow is suitable for vegetarians.
Recommended Use: Three capsules every three to four hours during heavy menstrual blood loss. Up to six capsules may be taken for long term management, but no longer than 3 months. One capsules daily can be safely taken long term.

I was prescribed this product by my Naturopath for heavy bleeding. 3 caps every 3 hours. This works wonderfully for me from the day I first began taking it. It slows the flow down to make doing day to day things without the "worry", just fantastic! Great product and worth a try for women with a similar problem.
