Having a vacation is like taking a break from reality. It’s like running away from work, chores and other responsibilities that make your daily life stressful. Wake up early and bask in the morning sun

Then without any sunscreen, go out into the sun and bask in the morning sunshine. This is really good for you. Now that you’re on a vacation, take advantage of the free time that you have to enjoy the sun. If you’re going to the beach, then better. You can walk around and enjoy the sights while exposing yourself to a little morning sun. Remember though to avoid going out or not wearing sunscreen during the hottest hours of the day, which is from 10 am to 2 pm.
Sneak exercises into your itinerary
If going to the beach is part of your vacation, then you’re in for a workout treat. There are lots of opportunities for fitness around this place. For one, walking on the sand is an effective exercise. In fact, it burns twice more calories than when you walk on flat ground. Just make sure you wear shoes to avoid getting splints. Beach volleyball isn’t only fun, it’s also a killer workout, helping you burn more than 150 calories per hour. Now if you’re not going to the beach, don’t worry, there are lots of other ways on how to sneak exercise into your vacation. Some good examples would be to take leisure walks or lengthy bike rides. Instead of hopping into a tour bus to see the sights, burn those calories with biking or walking. With so many beautiful views to see, you won’t even notice that you’re actually exercising.
Playing sports is another wonderful idea. Especially if you’re staying at a club resort, you’ll find tennis courts, golf courses and fitness gyms where you can spend your downtime. Then let’s not forget the shopping escapade. It’s probably the most thrilling form of exercise for the shopaholic. If you intend to do your Christmas shopping while you’re on a vacation, you’ll find that this is an effective aerobic exercise especially if you ditch the escalator and the fatty fast foods along the way. Don’t forget your diet
Just because it’s the yuletide season, it doesn’t really give you freedom to wreak havoc on your healthy diet. As much as possible, avoid pigging out. Yes, the festivities are all around. If you take a trip back to your home town, people are going to invite you to all sorts of food feasts and it would seem rude if you don’t seem as if you’re enjoying yourself or the food.
The trick here is to do a quick review of what’s on the buffet table and get as much of the healthy choices like greens and salads, lean cut meat and fruits.
