I used this product before working out to increase energy and improve muscle recovery. Normally it was a struggle to get out of bed the next morning after an intense workout, but never with this product. Would highly recommend.
I did several months of research into what I could possibly supplement my diet with to help make my personal recovery from a very severe head injury. I first found HGH as a possible supplement, but also realized that only IGF-1 & NGF were neural hyperplasics that HGH could be turned into by the body. Therefore I started looking for the least expensive IGF-1 or NGF. After paying 39.99 last spring for a bottle of NGF, I found NOW, wich was at that time (last spring '03) relatively inexpensive so I ordered 3 bottles for the price I payed for 1 bottle of NGF. I used those three bottle on a five day on, two day off cycle at three uses per day. Within two weeks I started noticing my energy level was greatly increased even when I was in between uses of IGF-1. I am now at the point six months later at 215 lbs. (14%BF) as opposed to 195 lbs (20%BF). I know the results aren't staggering, but along with the memory of my muscles and my continuing recovery I am well on my way to bench pressing 405 lbs. again (285 lbs. now). I think there has definitely been a drastic increase in my recovery while taking IGF-1 and I'm sure glad that NOW made it affordable.
