But other than its shape and name, this green spear has been known as an effective libido-booster since the ancient times. Being rich in vitamin B6 and folate, it increases the production of histamine, which in turn ups the libido for both men and women. Chili Peppers

Even those who normally had low sexual drive experienced significant increase in libido after eating chocolate on a regular basis. The result can be accounted to the serotonin and phenylethylamine that chocolates have. These mood-lifting hormones incited feelings of excitement and increased levels of energy, which are two good qualities of an aphrodisiac. Oysters
Another sexy food to try is the oyster. The slippery feel and the way the food is eaten allow for the imagination to run wild, but this isn't what makes oysters an aphrodisiac. Oysters are full of zinc, which is pivotal in the production of testosterone. According to some studies, zinc can increase sperm count and thereby, improve sexual potency in men. For women, this mineral keeps the ovaries healthy.
