Recommended Use: It is a violation from Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. For outdoor use only. Cover exposed food to avoid contamination. Do not allow burning sticks to contact flammable objects, materials or surfaces. Remove a stick from the box ignite the tip until it flames. Invert the stick to ensure the entire end is well started. When this occurs, blow out the flame. It will continue to burn without a flame but will create smoke which will repel mosquitoes. Insert the bottom end of the stick into the ground or a bucket of stand making sure the stick stands upright. Place sticks approximately every 10 to 12 feet apart around perimeter of the area to be protected. Sticks will be most effective when there is little or no breeze. Depending on air movement sticks will last 3-4 hours. If a crack appears in the body of the stick it is simply drying. This is normal and in no way impedes effectiveness. To extinguish, gently knock off glowing end and put the tip out by inserting in dirt or sand.

Traditionally we have always used tiki torches. Recently we decided to try something different and we weren't disappointed with the Mosquito Sticks. They burn cleanly and don't leave behind any additional mess. They smell isn't overly strong and if they aren't used all at once than you can re-light the next time you use them so I don't feel like I'm wasting them. They are a fantastic addition to our outdoor outside.
