"I have been using Dancing Paws "Shake'n'Zyme for over 25 years for various dogs and cats that I've had over the years.
It seems like the product changed a bit about 10 or 15 years ago and wasn't as "cheesey" and clumped a little in the jar, but it is still a very good product.
I used it in the late 1990s for my dog, Little Bear, who had leukemia, which caused digestive problems and this product helped him to not have as much diarrhea. I sometimes sprinkled it on his food and other times, he just licked the powder out of my hand.
I have also used it for my other dogs and cats who were not sick, just to insure that they got the most nutrition out of their food. My pets really like the taste and are more than happy to eat it. In fact, I have also sprinkled some on pet food when I had a picky eater and the flavor of the Shake n Zyme led them to eat their food more readily.
I even tried some myself and I liked the flavor. I still have some in the refrigerator because I like to keep it on hand--just in case. I am currently going to purchase some for friends--one whose older dog is throwing up once or twice a week to see if that ill help solve her digestive issues and one for a friend who rescues feral cats and has two sick ones right now because probiotics and digestive enzymes help the immune system." - Mariane C. "After buying it, our Vet suggested we didn't give it to our dog due to her weak immune system. I'm sure it would be fine for a healthy dog (just check with vet)." - Cara Hasper
