Warnings: Contains soy. Manufactured in a facility that also uses tree nuts.
Notes: Kosher, gluten free and all natural. Stores best in refrigerator or freezer.
Recommended Use: To rehydrate, pour boiling water or broth (7/8 cup) over 1 cup TVP. Stir and let stand for five to 10 minutes.
To Cook in Microwave: Cover tightly with plastic wrap and cook on high for five to six minutes (check after two minutes and add a little more liquid if needed). You can prepare a double batch of chunks, enough for two or three recipes, and the cooked TVP will keep in the refrigerator several days. Once TVP has been rehydrated, it must be kept under refrigeration.
