"I take this because I have an enlarged prostate. I can't say for sure if it works but I will say that before I took this, my specialist had told me in 2012, that my prostate was one and a half times lager than normal ( I'm 61 ). In October of 2013, after taking stinging nettle for four months, I went to my doctor for a regular check up and he told me that my prostate was only slightly enlarged. Taking stinging nettle is the only thing I did differently. You be the judge
but I'm going to continue taking this stinging nettle product." - Anonymous
"Stinging Nettle Root really works for raising free testosterone levels. I think the theory is that a ligand or ligands will bind to SHBG and thus leave more testosterone unbound. I am inclined to believe it since I have really easily maintained muscle gains at this point a few months post-hormones, and that's never happened to me before. It works so well, in fact, that I prefer it to the idea of using any other hormone or hormone-like stuff, because I have no side effects." - Anonymous
"Works for me., I take this in combo with some other herbs to help with my blood pressure and overall health. With this and some of the other herbs my blood pressure is better controlled and I'm no longer on Cholesterol meds. I do take less than the recommended dosage." - Handy Man
"I have tried other Nettle products to help with allergy symptoms and this one has been the best. Some brands come as capsules and they don't go down as well, nor do they work as well. I always look for this brand! Dr. Weil's book mentions how to use it for allergies and his dosing is different than the bottle's. Check that out if you are treating allergies. I also use it to help my adrenal gland." - Sharon
