The essential fatty acids in flaxseed oil are its health benefits. EFAs are particularly valuable because the body needs them to function properly, but can't manufacture them on its own. One of the EFAs in flaxseed oil--alpha-linolenic acid--is known as an omega-3 fatty acid. Flaxseeds also contain omega-6 fatty acids in the form of linoleic acid; omega-6s are the same healthy fats found in vegetable oils. In addition, flaxseeds are a rich source of lignans, substances that appear to positively affect hormone-related problems.
Warnings: To assure freshness and potency, refrigerate after opening. Keep out of reach of children.
Recommended Use: As a dietary supplement for adults, two (2) to four (4) softgels daily, preferably at mealtimes, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

I was told that I have Endometriosis about 2 years ago and that was after years of being in pain and not knowing why. Since taking Flaxseed Oil the pain I feel during my period is almost non-existant. I used to take between 20-25 pills in 4 days just to get through my period. Now I take a Motrin and it lasts for at least 8 hours. Flaxseed oil is natural and it works better than anything else I have tried.
