Warnings: If you have high blood pressure or suffer from a heart condition that can be aggravated by hypertension, Umeboshi Pickled Plums may not be a smart choice for your diet. The American Heart Association suggests decreasing your intake of sodium to 1,500 mg per day, as too much sodium can cause a spike in blood pressure.
Notes: Certified kosher and pareve. Contains no gluten, fat or wheat.
Recommended Use: This salty, tangy, ruby red vinegar is delicious sprinkled over cooked vegetables (especially members of the cabbage family). It adds zing to salad dressings and dips, and is great for making other pickled or preserved foods.
