My son is two years old and absolutely refuses to drink
milk. At his two year appointment I brought this up with
his pediatrician and she said he should be taking a calcium
supplement. I told her that I had looked in our local natural foods store for a calcuim and couldn't find one there, and the grocery stores all had vitamins that contained hydrogenated oils. A big no-no in my book. She told me that she too was trying to find one that did not have the oils and all she could find was Nature's Plus Calcium available at Whole Foods. Our closest whole foods is in LA and that is two hours away. I just happened to be going to LA the next day and I made a special stop and bought two bottles of the vitamin's hoping my son would like them. Not only does he like them, he loves them and vitamin time is not a nightmare it is a treat. Thank you for creating such a palatable product.
I am an adult female, and have been told calcium is very important to me. I have been taking Animal Parade Calcium because of certain stomach conditions, and it's easier for me to take my vitamins and supplements in a chewable form. I decided to try Animal Parade Calcium since most of the other chewable calcium supplements are chalky and taste nasty. Not this one, I love these. They taste just like
vanilla milk shakes and they don't leave a powdery aftertaste in my mouth like Tums and other calcium supplements do. Thank goodness I found these. I'll be ordering more very soon.
