Recommended Use: Apply evenly to clean, dry skin. Avoid eye and lip areas. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse clean with cool water. Use 1-3 times per week, as needed.

It's got a gel-like consistency and its smell is barely noticed. It works better on my skin than mechanical scrub. It exfoliates gently but effectively which makes it ideal for more mature skin as well. It has a cooling effect and leaves the skin fresh.
