  4. Ginkgo Biloba:

  10. Vitamin B6:
    Also known as pyridoxine, vitamin B6 plays an important role in the metabolism of proteins and the production of neurotransmitters. Proteins are used in brain cell repair and neurotransmitter chemicals maintain cell communication, enhancing memory retention and cognitive performance.

These substances may have their own actions that interfere with other medications. Ginseng and other stimulants, for example, shouldn't be taken by a person who is on antidepressants or MAO inhibitors. It's best to consult a health practitioner if you or your child have been diagnosed with a medical condition or are on medication, especially for a condition like ADD or ADHD, before using concentration supplements.
