Warnings: Some may experience gastrointestinal upset, diarrhea or nausea while taking this product which usually disappears by reducing dosage or is minimized by taking with food. As with any supplement if discomfort continues discontinue use. May cause drowsiness. Shouldn't be consumed by pregnant or lactating women. Those using MAO-inhibitors, antidepressants and drugs containing fenfluramine shouldn't use 5-HTP. Shouldn't be consumed by children. Those suffering from gut disorders such as ulcers, irritable bowel disease, Crohn's disease and celiac disease shouldn't use 5-HTP.

Recommended Use: Use under the guidance of a healthcare practitioner. Start with a low dose of 1 tablet (50 mg) taken daily with a meal. Increase the dose slowly (every three to five days) up to a maximum of 4 tablets daily (200 mg) Total daily intake should be divided into two or more doses, with no more than 2 tablets per dose.
