Spring Trends for Skin, Fitness and Beauty

Let eVitamins help you keep up to date with the latest skin, fitness and beauty trends for spring.

Spring is finally here, and with the new season comes more than just warmer weather. The way I see it, spring is more than just a season; it’s the opportunity for a lifestyle change of sorts. Spring means ditching those drab winter colors for something a bit more bright and welcoming, whether it is in the clothes you wear, the accessories you carry around, your skincare regimen, the colors you paint your nails, or the makeup you choose to incorporate into your daily routine. Here at eVitamins, we carry just the right products to help put a little spring in your step (pun intended) for the next few months leading into summer.

Fitness Accessories

Whether you wear them at the gym, for running errands or for everyday use, sneakers can become quite the hassle after having to tie and untie them time after time. With Hickies No Tie Shoelaces
you won’t have to worry about taking the time out of your busy life to stop and tie your shoes ever again. Hickies No Tie Shoelaces are “one size fits all,” come in packs of 14 (enough to “tie” one pair of sneakers), and come in a variety of different color options, such as the neon multi-colored option linked above. Not only will Hickies No Tie Shoelaces make your life more convenient, but they will also help to brighten up any springtime outfit.

There are a number of different Blender Bottles on the market that are available in different size and color options. Designed to make fitness more convenient, the Blender Bottle comes complete with a wire whisk ball made of 316 surgical-grade stainless steel, so it will never rust or peel. Take your favorite spring-colored Blender Bottle along with you to the gym to mix up your favorite protein shake with ease, or remove the whisk and simply use it as a water bottle.

Just because winter is over now doesn’t mean that your skin doesn’t need some extra TLC. While the air might not be as dry, sun-exposed skin can gradually lose moisture and essential oils, which is why keeping your skin moisturized is a must. Tropical Coconut Hydrating & Smoothing Body Lotion by Nourish Organic not only smells like a tropical paradise, but it is good for your skin, as it is free of parabens, artificial fragrances, preservatives and more.

In preparation for beach season, I think it’s safe to say that more than just a few of us are hitting the gym a bit more than we used to. For the busy athlete who wants to make sure their skin is healthy and in tip-top shape for the summer, consider trying Zip’s Sport Soap by Indigo Wild. Zip’s Sport Soap is an all-natural goat’s milk soap containing a light and refreshing tea tree-sage scent.

Moisturizing your face is important, but what is even more important is making sure your moisturizer has an SPF to it to protect the skin that is constantly being exposed to the sun’s UV rays. Icelandic Moisture by Skyn Iceland has an SPF of 30 and is made with a natural mineral formula. It can be worn alone or underneath face makeup for sun-protection throughout your day.

If your moisturizer doesn’t have an SPF to it but you want to avoid damaging your skin from the sun’s harmful rays, consider trying a product like Mavala’s Wet & Dry Powder. Available in three different shades, this powder has an SPF of 10 and will give your skin a matte finish. Wet & Dry Powder can be worn alone or on top of your favorite foundation.

Nail Polish

Spring is all about reintroducing brighter, more vibrant colors into your wardrobe, and what a better way to do that than with nail polish. What you may not be able to get away with in clothing every day, you can make up for with nail polish. Don’t be afraid to get a little daring; brighter nail polish is sure to make any outfit “pop” and give it a little extra flair. Here are a few of the many spring-appropriate nail polishes that we offer:

Creamy Nail Polish by 100 Percent Pure in Juice is a unique bright red color with pink undertones. As an added bonus to the beautiful color, all 100 Percent Pure nail polishes are free of the common carcinogens found in most nail polish: formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor, and formaldehyde resin.

Benecos Happy Nails - Nail Polish in Green Way is the perfect teal color to show off on your nails for spring. All Happy Nails - Nail Polish is naturally vegan and is free of formaldehydes, phthalates and toluene.

Mavala Mini Nail Color in Glasgow not only comes in a smaller bottle that is great for travel, but it is also a slightly shimmery lavender color that is the essence of spring.

Nicole by OPI’s Believe It, Do It is a shimmery dark pink that can be worn every day while not going unnoticed. This color is just the right amount of flash and sass.

NYX Round Lipstick in Narcissus is just the right pale pink to wear every day during the spring season. It’s light enough to go with almost any springtime outfit, with just the right amount of pop to it.

For something a bit more daring, try NYX Round Lipstick in Shiva. Shiva is a true fuchsia color that will look great for a night on the town.

Spring 2016 is all about blush. While there may be such a thing as too much blush, there is no such thing as the wrong color blush when used correctly. Take Larenim Blush in Radiant Glo, for example. Radiant Glo is a bit of a darker pale pink shade with a bit of pearlization to it, making it the perfect color for anyone to use.

Just when you never thought you’d live to see blue eyeshadow back in style again (unless that was just me), it made a surprisingly big comeback during Fashion Week. To copy this season’s hottest runway looks, try NYX Nude Matte Shadow in The Buff. The Buff is more of a periwinkle shade, so it’s just the right color for someone who’s looking to experiment with their eye color a bit more without being too daring or “out there.”

For a more natural springtime look, try the Benecos Natural Duo Eyeshadow in Fruits. Fruits comes with a light pink and dark brown eyeshadow, both of which can be blended together in a number of different ways or used alone.

Burt’s Bees had a natural look in mind when they created their Tinted Lip Balm in a Blush Orchid shade. Blush Orchid is the true definition of a pale pink shade, and the lip balm’s sheer coverage will make your lip color look extremely natural.

For a greenery-inspired springtime look (quite literally) try Larenim Eye Colour in Elfin. This shimmery green eyeshadow can be worn alone or blended with other earthy eyeshadow shades for something a bit more subtle.

Now that spring has finally sprung, what are some products or makeup color combinations you’re most looking forward to trying out? We’d like to hear from you. Leave us a comment and let us know which of our products are your spring must-haves!
