  2. Apple cider vinegar
  3. Essential oils like orange, lemongrass and tea tree
  4. Citrus juice, like lemon
  5. Natural liquid soap
  6. Baking soda
  7. Olive oil

Formulas to Try

All Surface Cleaner


  • 1 part apple cider vinegar
  • 4 parts water
  • A few drops of orange essential oil

Glass Cleaner


  • 1 part apple cider vinegar
  • 4 parts water
  • 1/2 tsp natural liquid soap
  • A few drops of tea tree essential oil

Floor Cleaner


  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 9 cups hot water
  • 2 tbsp baking soda

Bathroom Cleaner


  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 3/4 cup natural liquid soap
  • A few drops orange essential oil

Furniture Duster


  • 10 drops lemongrass essential oil
  • A few drops olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Tips for Storage


While these products are safer than traditional formulations you may have bought before, they should still be kept away from little hands and pets. Store your products in spray bottles or tightly sealed containers on a high shelf, so they're out of reach. Make sure they're stored at room temperature and avoid and extreme changes in temperature. Apply them with cut up old t-shirts or rags to reduce waste.
