| Tyler Encapsulations was founded in 1987 by Corey Resnick, ND, and Jack T. Simms.
Dr. Resnick is an internationally recognized authority in the field of clinical nutrition and a contributing author to the Textbook of Natural Medicine. He is a director emeritus of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine and a past member of the board of directors of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. A licensed naturopathic physician since 1978, Dr. Resnick headed up product development and research at Tyler for 13 years.
Mr. Simms was a pioneer in the natural products industry with over 30 years experience in sales, marketing, distribution and manufacturing of specialty nutritional products for healthcare practitioners. Jack T. Simms retired as founding president of Tyler Encapsulations in 2000.
Tyler's guiding vision was, "Advancing the standard of scientifically based nutrition to improve and sustain the quality of life". Tyler was the first to introduce many ground breaking, physician-formulated professional products such as Similase® and Permeability Factors™ for gastrointestinal health, Recancostat® and Calcium D-Glucarate™ for cellular immunity, and Detoxication Factors™ for nutritional support of detoxification. |
