Astaxanthin is a member of the carotenoid family and is a powerful newly discovered antioxidant that helps protect against more types of free radicals than any other antioxidant. Saw Palmetto Extract (berry) (Serenoa repens) is a small palm tree, with berries and leaves, indigenous to North America. By the 1970's, clinical studies in Europe were proving what herbalists had known for years. Saw Palmetto can be used for prostate support. A German study, over a three year period, showed significant improvement in 82% of the 315 patients with prostate symptoms.
