DGP is working great on my old black lab. He has some problems with his right hip and right rear leg, (not sure how old he is as he is a rescue), but DGP is helping him so much. He wants to take a walk most nights now, as well as in the mornings. He had given up his night walks, I believe, due to pain and stumbling more in the darkness. I ordered some last year to try and help my 9 year old border collie, but never got to use it very long on her before we had to put her down. I am thankful for this as I now have 4 big old dogs who will benefit.

My 16 year old dog is acting like a young pup again, after being on DGP for about a month. He is not having nearly the problems he was on the stairs and his overall demeanor is much better. He seems happier and more energetic. My dog is not the biggest fan of the flavor, so it goes in a piece of cheese.

I wanted to warn people about DGP Dog Gone Pain by American BioSciences. My son tried DGP on our 13 year old male Collie, Buddy. The first night I woke up at 1 AM to Buddy crashing into my mirrored closet doors. He was staggering around and falling like he was drunk. His heart was racing and he was panting. He was very restless and thirsty. This lasted until 9 or 10 AM.

I have a 13 year old bassett hound who has been having trouble getting up the back steps. I have tried aspirin, steroids, but nothing seemed to really help him. He had gotten to where I had to go down and help push him up the stairs. I was afraid I was going to have to say good-bye to him which I didn't want to do. I started DGP, and Kramer now gets up the steps without my help! He has a spring in his step that I haven't seen in a while. Thank you DGP!

My 10+ year old Lab has arthritis of the elbow and is not active. He has difficulty going up and down the porch steps so we built him a ramp. I had been giving him Rimadyl and had to discontinue that due to a increased reading of one of the enzymes in his liver. The vet put him on Metacam, which caused diarrhea. About that time, a lady at our local pet store told me about DGP. I decided to give it a try and have already noticed improvement in his lifestye. He will now walk willingly every morning and evening (albeit no more than 1/2 a mile a day). As a result of the improvement with the DGP, I have not had to take him for acupuncture since last summer. DGP is an excellent product and certainly safer, in my opinion, than the pharmaceuticals previously given to him. Our younger Lab has had two operations for dyplasia and he is also taking the DGP. I have noticed that he is more active and rarely limps anymore. We have recently added a four-month old puppy (a smaller breed) to our family and the younger Lab has gotten much more active, without any negative results from the increased activity. He is now running and playing harder than he has for a couple of years. I would reccomend DGP without hesitation!
