Full Spectrum Vitamin K™ is a comprehensive vitamin K formula containing three forms of vitamin K, as well as representative forms of the other fat soluble vitamins, vitamins A and D, and vitamin E as gamma and delta tocotrienols. Vitamin D and K are particularly typical deficiencies, due to inadequate sun exposure (vitamin D) and low amounts in the diet (both). The delta and gamma tocotrienols are many times stronger than delta and gamma tocopherols, as antioxidants and in relationship to their varied functions. WARNINGS: Do not use with anticoagulant drugs. NOTES: These nutrients are of the highest quality and purity obtainable, and do not contain preservatives, diluents, or artificial additives. Keep in a cool, dry place, tightly capped. |

 What does Vitamin K do?Vitamin K is needed for proper bone formation and blood clotting. In both cases, vitamin K does this by helping the body transport calcium. Vitamin K is used by doctors when treating an overdose of the drug warfarin. Also, doctors prescribe vitamin K to prevent excessive bleeding in people taking warfarin but requiring surgery. There is preliminary evidence that vitamin K2 (menadione), not vitamin K1 (phylloquinone; phytonadione), may improve a group of blood disorders known as myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS).1 These syndromes carry a significantly increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
