| Product Information |
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can be characterized by a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity/impulsivity that occurs in academic, occupational and social settings. Children who have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) exhibit degrees of inattention or hyperactivity/ impulsivity that are abnormal for their ages. This can result in serious social problems including impairment of family relationships and failure to progress appropriately at school and in other endeavors. When appropriate diagnostic criteria are used, it is estimated that 3% to 5% of school age children are afflicted with ADHD. However, it is estimated that up to 20% of the school-aged population are affected with some degree of ADHD. Boys are about four times more likely than girls to have symptoms of ADHD.
A variety of biological factors may predispose some children to exhibit symptoms of ADHD with more recent research suggesting that hereditary factors may affect brain functioning in those areas responsible for inhibiting and modulating behavior. Ritalin and related stimulant medications are commonly prescribed for the treatment of ADHD. Although the exact mechanism by which these medications work is unknown, evidence suggests that it works by correcting a biochemical condition in the brain. Pedia-Calm works in much the same way. The natural ingredients in this formula work to balance biochemical activity in the brain.

My son is 6 years old, in 1st grade, and is (or shall I say "was") EXTREMELY hyperactive. Pedia Calm has made a great improvement in his ability to settle down and stay focused in school. He is also able to make better decisions. I would strongly recommend this product. This has been a life saver for us all!

Pedia calm has been a life saver in our family.
My oldest son suffers form ADHD and can be unbearable at times. When he is taking this supplement he's so much calmer and easier to deal with. Instead of using a prescribed drug, we chose to try this. It has worked great for us! The neat thing about this is that you can empty the capsule into food and they don't even know that the are getting it. A teacher friend of mine has suggested this to other parents with Hyperactive kids adn also attests to its positive outcome. Its worth trying because it works!

We have a son, age 12, who has been taking Pedia-Calm since about age 9. We've run out at times and/or tried to see how he'd do without it. The results were disastrous! His teachers would make comments about how much he'd changed since the first of the school year (for the worse). We'd put him back on the Pedia-Calm and within a few days, he'd be (almost) the model student again. Without the Pedia-calm, we could also see a difference in his behavior at home. He would be harder go get along with, couldn't concentrate, and was too distracted to carry out simple directions. We never wanted to put him on the prescription meds. We're glad we haven't, and we're thrilled to have found Pedia-Calm. It works like a charm for us.
