Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Pure Castile Soap is their phenomenal new soap for the millennium. The therapeutic benefits of Tea Tree oil can now be reaped in an unsurpassed pure castile base. Use for facial cleansing and cleaning minor cuts and scrapes, as well as everyday bathing. The original all-natural soap. Quality soap-making consists in great part in choosing the right proportions of the right oils with their different fatty acids. Most commercial soaps skimp on quality because of cost, and use lots of tallow from beef fat with a little bit of coconut or palm kernel oil. Dr. Bronner's (All One) unsurpassed soaps use olive, hemp, and palm oils instead of tallow, and use three to four times more coconut oil than commercial soaps. Saponified coconut oil generates high-lather cleansing even in hard water because it has shorter-chain saturated fatty acids. Hemp, olive, and palm based soaps make a mild, smooth, creamy lather, because these oils contain longer chain unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids.
WARNINGS: Keep out of the reach of children.

I use this bar as shampoo and face wash. I LOVE it! I tried diluting the liquid tea tree soap but was having trouble getting the right pH so I would have really oily or really dry hair but the bar does all the work for me. It's perfect. I think it's a great alternative to washing with plain baking soda. Baking soda makes my hair clean and look great but my scalp is really sensitive, not only to sulphates but also baking soda and it makes my scalp break out. Plus it lathers just like regular shampoo which helps clean your scalp especially if you have long hair. I follow the tea tree soap with apple cider vinegar rinse or a very small amount of silicone free conditioner and my hair is amazing.

This stuff is great! My first thought was that this Tea Tree Bar would not have any difference with leading brands on the
market, like AXE, but it actually makes you feel clean and it's all natural.
