The ingredients in PIONEER Calcium/Magnesium Bone Protein & Trace Mineral Complex make the difference! PIONEER Calcium/Magnesium Bone Protein & Trace Mineral Complex contains microcrystalline calcium hydroxyapatite (MCH) and calcium citrate-malate.
MCH comes from Australian freeze-dried whole bovine bone of naturally-raised animals. Calcium from freeze-dried bone, versus bone meal or any other calcium source, retains the natural ratios of all micronutrients, bone matrix proteins, and other organic constituents of healthy bone. Australia MCH is free of toxic levels of contaminants,* such as herbicides, pesticides, lead and other heavy metals and steroid and antibiotic residues. This preferred source costs more, but it's worth it. Australia is certified BSE-free. Documentation is available to you on request.
Calcium citrate-malate, the other calcium, is a fully reacted composite chelate that has about six times the solubility of calcium citrate or calcium malate alone. It's also better absorbed than calcium carbonate, the most common form used in calcium supplements.
Both MCH and calcium citrate-malate are present in a 1:1 ratio.
Magnesium, Boron, and Vitamin D. The magnesium in PIONEER Calcium/ Magnesium Bone Protein & Trace Mineral Complex is specially blended from aspartic acid, lysine, fully-reacted citrate, and magnesium oxide to provide better absorption and utilization. Boron, a micronutrient, is also present to aid in the effcient use of calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, and phosphorus.
NOTES: Pioneer Calcium/Magnesium contains one of the very lowest levels of lead and other contaminants of any calcium/magnesium supplement available. Test results for microbiological and heavy metal contaminants are available from Pioneer on request.
