Dr. James Dowd, M.D. is board-certified in internal medicine, adult rheumatology and pediatric rheumatology. In 1997, Dr. Dowd founded the Arthritis Institute of Michigan. Dr. Matthew Marturano, N.D. is a licensed naturopathic physician. His educational background includes a dual Bachelor of Science in Biology and Philosophy from the University of Michigan and a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Marturano currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Association of Naturopathic Physicans and the Michigan Nutrition Association.
